Spicer® Trac-Lok™ Passive Limited Slip Differential
The Spicer Trac-Lok is a torque-sensing, clutch-style limited slip differential that improves traction and performance. It complements brake-based traction control systems to increase torque transfer and improve brake durability.
Spicer® Powr-Lok™ Passive Limited Slip Differential
The Spicer Powr-Lok maintains the same benefits of a Trac-Lok but adds independent adjustability for bias in drive and coast. The tunable design enables enhanced performance and control whether on the track or off-road.
Spicer® PerformaTraK™ Locking Differential
With Spicer PerformaTraK, pneumatic or electric differentials can transfer full driveline torque to one wheel by preventing wheel differentiation. Both wheels are required to turn at the same speed in all conditions to eliminate wheel slip and increase mobility.
Electronic Limited Slip Differential
Dana’s Electronic Limited Slip Differential (ELSD) technology bridges the gap between a full all-wheel drive system and a two-wheel drive open differential system to deliver maximum tractive effort while improving drivability. It enhances stability while cornering, delivers higher torque capacity, and offers greater controllability.
Using proprietary software to determine optimal torque corrections, ELSD corrects unwanted driving behaviors in milliseconds. The unit can be preemptively engaged in situations where wheel slip is likely, such as starting from a stop in icy conditions. This bolt-on solution for any front-wheel drive transaxle or rear-wheel drive rear axle disconnects when not in use to boost efficiency.
Dana’s ELSD technology surpasses the performance of a two-wheel drive open differential unit, without the added cost and inefficiencies of an all-wheel drive system. It is ideal for passenger cars, trucks, SUVs, and crossovers.
